Hi, I’m Laurie, the owner of Vernon’s newest Hostel, The Laughing Llama. My son and I have volunteered and traveled extensively in South and Central America teaching English in impoverished areas of Peru. We helped out a new hostel in Uruguay, ran a hostel in Bolivia & worked in a restaurant in Costa Rica. Inspired by our travels, I’m ready to realize my life long dream to host travelers in my adopted home of Vernon BC.
